Hi Guys, your plugin = greatness!
However, look to the screenshots below… I have set the plugin to retain 5 backups of both the fileset and database… but, instead the plugin is backing up non-stop without deleting the last in line. 49 backups and counting :/ Today I am deleting the backups (1 at a time) and then uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin (cleaning the cache in between) to see if that works… but would love to hear if anyone else is having this issue and/or if there is a fix or should I just begin deleting this plugin from my site and all my client sites before I begin having problems with the host.

    Hi,

Could you post a copy of one of the recent backup logs?
It will be too long to post directly, but you can use an online service such as pastebin, and post the link here

Thanks for the reply DNutbourne… but I figured out that I had recently signed up for the CloudFlare service and assigned it to my primary website… as soon as I paused the service… IWP began to work. Thanks again…

DNutbourne… I apologize for the mixup, my previous post was regarding a separate issue I was having with a different plugin.

So, this is the current status:
I have deactivated, uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin (that was yesterday) I reset the settings to match what shows in the SS I provided. Then today, logging in just now I see I have 1 backup dated Jan 18 2016 (I have NO idea how that got there… 2. 1 backup dated Apr 19 (yesterday – that is expected) and 3. as soon as I logged in and opened the Updraft page the software began creating a new backup dated today Apr 20 2016.

Hmmm…. lets wait and see what happens tomorrow. In the meantime I will try to look for a report.

    best regards, “K”

Yeah I have a similar issue. I thought it’s just me, but it seems like other people have it too. These are the issues I have

    1. The software keeps on backing up the files without stopping.
    2. If the split archive size is low as 25MB, sometimes it works without any issue, sometimes it backs up the site twice in one time
    3. Cache files are not deleted after uploading the files to a remote server
    4. This whole thing makes both RAM,CPU to works hard. I noticed that the ram utilization was almost 1GB whereas with the dropbox backup plugin it’s barely 400MB.
