I wanted to inform you that I have added a membership fee of $69 to all plans. While this fee is correctly accounted for in the admin panel, I have noticed that only the package price is being calculated in Stripe, and the membership fee is not included.

Could you please assist in resolving this issue so that the total price, including the membership fee, is correctly reflected in Stripe transactions?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi @dev-ide,

The sign-up fee is working correctly on my test site, now let’s investigate why it doesn’t work on your site.

Please go to WordPress Dashboard-> Plugins-> Installed Plugins-> and send a screenshot with everything you have installed related to Paid Member Subscriptions. I would like to check which version of Paid Member Subscriptions is active on your site.

For the subscription plan you sent in the first screenshot, please send me another screenshot that shows all the plan settings. I need a screenshot similar to this example: https://snipboard.io/htZyG1.jpg

I also need a screenshot from Stripe. Go to Stripe -> Dashboard -> Payments, click on the payment you’re having issues with, and send me a screenshot similar to this example: https://snipboard.io/pXDnMT.jpg Please make sure to hide the customer’s information as I have done.

    Hi @madalinaruzsa ,

    Thank you for your response.

    Hi @dev-ide,

    1. This is a potential problem also.

The transaction is not duplicated, as you can see what I have highlighted here: https://snipboard.io/10AN7y.jpg the two payments have different statuses, the first payment has the status “Pending”, and the second payment has the status “Completed”. So most likely the user saw that the first payment did not go through and tried to make another payment which went through.

To find out why the first payment did not work, you must check the Payments Logs by going to Dashboard -> Paid Member Subscriptions -> Payments page, hover your mouse cursor over one of the pending payments and click the Edit Payment link that appears. Documentation here: https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/paid-member-subscriptions/member-payments/#Payment_Logs

    2. In the Stripe panel, only the package price is showing up on the invoice

I need a screenshot from Stripe, similar to the example I sent you in my previous message. Here’s the example for reference: https://snipboard.io/pXDnMT.jpg.

Please go to Stripe -> Dashboard -> Payments. Search for the most recent payment shown in the screenshot above, i.e this one https://snipboard.io/10AN7y.jpg. Then, send me a screenshot similar to the example provided.

    Hi,

the first problems are resolved, thanks

I noticed on the Strip account, under expenses, there’s a commission for the Paid Member Subscription platform. Do you earn a commission on each sale? I don’t understand.

    Hi @dev-ide,

Yes, with the free version, we apply a small 2% fee to each transaction. This fee helps support our Paid Member Subscriptions team and funds the continued development of the gateway and the plugin.

You can find a note about this fee in the Stripe section of your settings. Go to PMS -> Settings -> Payments -> Stripe, and look for the note highlighted in a yellow border.
