Logic broken after update to 5.0.0

A guest let me know about this problem and it seems to line up with the timing of the automatic update to v5.0.0. Our site had a set of logic that worked with your plugin since its early days when GDPR came into being. The logic has been working until this new update.

I’m exploring the cookies in the Firefox dev console and most times it is simply disappearing after a page refresh after accepting them. Sometimes it remains as moove_gdpr_popup but usually gets cleared after visiting another page – probably by our original logic, which was based on your original guidance.

I’ve rolled back to v4.16.1 and voila, the problem is cleared up – our original logic is working fine. It seems you’ve introduce some breaking changes.
