List choice setup

    We have two audiences in MailChimp and want to add a list choice option in the newsletter subscribe form on our website. We’ve added the list choice option in the form. When we test if the list choice works, we found out that the user is not added to the lists. We get the message in the WP admin “Heads up! You have not yet selected a Mailchimp audience to subscribe people to. Please select at least one audience from the settings tab.” What do we fill out there? As we want the user itself select the audience in the form?

    You have to set a default list for the form, that is the list that will be used when no list is set in the form’s list choice.

    The list choice in the form will overwrite the list you set as default for the form.
