• So there’s a size limit for backups. But why on earth won’t you warn me about that when doing the BACKUP instead of informing and requiring payment for the full version on RESTORE? That’s a bit too late to reconsider, isn’t it? This is borderline scam. Save yourself time and frustration and skip this one.

    Hello Holraven,

    I hope you are well.

We have this at the top of the plugin page:

Free vs. paid, plainly: The free plugin backs up and exports sites of any size. To restore for free, download your backup file and import it on the Import screen. Your hosting company decides how large a file you can upload, so a very large backup may not go through that way. The paid Unlimited Extension adds one-click Restore from the Backups page and uploads that get around your host’s file-size restrictions. That is how we fund the free plugin.

Let me know what you would like us to change. Thank you!
