Latest update breaks WPBakery javascript

Dear Sirs, last night MetaSlider was automatically updated on my website and, as a result, the javascript fade-in effect applied by WPBakery Page Builder does not work anymore, i.e. the content will not appear.

Other effects like slide in are still working but I have not tested them all.

If I downgrade to 3.95.0 it all works fine.

I have to keep the previous version because the website is about a chess tournament taking place this week so I can not afford to have contents not showing up.

Is this problem appearing on other websites?

WP 6.7.2 / PHP 8.4.8
