• Hello,

    I’m using WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway to enable payments with credit card and Klarna on my website. These are my settings: https://ibb.co/kgjsryq7

    After saving said settings, if I check the website I can see both the credit card via Stripe and the Klarna option among the payment methods.

    I don’t know why, after some time, the option disappears from the checkout and if I go back to the plugin settings the Klarna option is disabled (https://ibb.co/4wb1s7x3) without anyone touching it!

    Could you help with this?

    To help identify why Klarna is being disabled automatically, we suggest the following:

    1. Activate an activity log plugin – For example, WP Activity Log can help track any changes to your WooCommerce settings. This way, you can see if something is modifying the Klarna option.
    2. Share your WooCommerce System Status Report – You can get this via WooCommerce → Status → Get System Report.
    3. Share Stripe error logs – You can find these under WooCommerce → Status → Logs → select Stripe logs.

    Once we have this information, we’ll be able to investigate further and provide guidance to ensure Klarna remains active at checkout.

    Hi there,

    I installed WP Activity Log, activated the Klarna option again and waited for it to disappear again. As far as I can see the plugin did’t register anything relevant.

    How can I attach the WooCommerce and Stripe logs without disclosing private information?

    Thank you for the update. You can use the QuickForget tool to share the logs so that once we review them, the log can be automatically removed. Unfortunately, there isn’t another way to share logs securely.

    Once we have the necessary information from the logs, we will assist you accordingly.

    This error log and behavior indicate that Stripe is now requiring certain payment methods, like Klarna, to be configured and enabled directly within your Stripe Dashboard, rather than just from within WooCommerce settings. It seems like Klarna is not enabled or fully configured in your Stripe Dashboard.

    Could you please try to enable the Klarna from your stripe dashboard by following these steps.
    To enable Klarna from your Stripe Dashboard, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.
    2. Go to Settings (gear icon in the top right).
    3. Click on Payments and then Payment methods.
    4. Scroll to find Klarna in the list of available payment methods.
    5. If Klarna shows “Activate” or “Turn on” next to it, click that button and follow any additional prompts to complete activation.

    After that please try to reconnect your stripe account and see if that work for you.

    Hi there,

    I followed your instructions and activated Klarna on Stripe Dashboard.

    I don’t know what you mean by “try to reconnect your stripe account”. Could you please tell me the steps I should take? Maybe I’m missing out something here because the plugin behavior didn’t change (I activated Klarna option and found it disabled after a while).

    I understand your concern. Please follow these steps:

    1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Manage Stripe → Stripe Settings.
    2. In the Account Settings section, click on the three dots, deactivate the account, and then connect it again by following the instructions in this guide:

    Additionally, try reconfiguring the webhook and see if that resolves the issue. You can follow this guide for help:

    Thanks for sharing the update!

    I suspect this is a plugin/theme conflict. I would suggest testing for plugin conflicts by deactivating other plugins one at a time and checking whether the issue keeps happening. Do the same for the theme.
