Increased vCPU usage

    We have noticed that the Image optimizer plug-in causes unnecessary vCPU usage. Our first report through mail about this was in May but as of yet we still see the same issue. We ourselves do not use this plug-in but our customers do use it. Please look into the constant vCPU usage this plug-in causes.

    Yes, using Image Optimizer by Elementor can increase CPU (and, by extension, vCPU) usage during image optimization tasks.

    Elementor’s Image Optimizer plugin can cause CPU usage to peak during active optimization processes

    Image optimization is inherently a resource-intensive process. The CPU demand increases, especially when running bulk optimizations or when the plugin repeatedly attempts to process problematic files
