Had to end up disabling the form on one account due to the amount of spam being submitted on the form. The strange part is I removed the form from the page and the spam still kept coming through.
Did you were able to solve it? I’m getting the same!!

Sadly, I have not been able to resolve anything. The only thing I have been able to do so far is totally deactivate this form plugin because hCaptcha no longer works as designed.
I noticed they were all coming from the same 1-3 IP addresses and blocked them from the site. No more spam for now–at least until they rotate IPs π

The IP block does last for a while, but it doesn’t take long for them to send from another. A better solution would be for the hCaptcha to have the hole plugged. It’s been 2 weeks since the original post, so hopefully someone from hCaptcha will find a proper solution.
Same issue for me. Spam has been increasing highly as you can see on this screenshot of the Trash folder of my mailbox:

Same kind of signatures in some of them (but not all) :
P.S. XEvil 6.0 est le meilleur solveur de captcha au monde!
“XEvil 6.0 1] + XRumer multhithreading hCaptcha test”
Bots are getting too strong for hCaptcha. I’m seriously considering going back to “Google evil” ReCaptcha…
I have been getting the same across a number of websites. I contacted hCaptcha about a week or so ago and they said they were deploying new images. I followed up and they instead decided to try to upsell me on a corporate subscription.
Clearly I have no confidence that would work, even if it was an option.
They seem to have zero interesting fixing this issue, so I think ill have to go back to google, which is a massive pain since I just changed over to hCaptcha for the superior performance and no tracking!

Hello, this issue was related to a few specific challenges, which have now been removed. You should see spam going back down to zero.
Last weeks hackers bypass Hcaptcha and send emails by contact form 7

We reactivated the plugin on the site that had the most issues, and so far it appears to be working to keep the spam out.
Hi @hcaptcha , we are still experiencing lots of spam on our contact form, which is protected (or should be) by hCaptcha. I added a couple of examples, butt we are receiving more than 30 messages per day similar to these.
Is there anything we can do to stop this? We started using hCaptcha about a year ago because reCaptha wasn’t blocking all spam anymore.
Thank you for your reply!
[spam expamples removed hy moderator. Let’s not give these folks a wider audience. Also, this plugin is a captcha plugin, not a spam filter, so the actual content of the spam is not relevant.]
Hi @hcaptcha,
For me this issue has started getting really bad in mid August. Please do something. I’m receiving more than 20 messages a day for each of my sites. I would love to stay with hCaptcha since I love the lack of tracking, but this is not working.
Thank you for your help.

We cannot verify if this issue was resolved or not. We ended up using alternative methods to block spam because hCaptcha was no longer reliable.
in my case the problem is AMP version
