The plugin is not compatible with JetEngine forms in WordPress.

If the “force from address” checkbox is not checked, the form doesn’t work.

And if the checkbox is checked, the name never comes through correctly because this plugin overwrites it.

Hi, Does your form have settings where you can enter the from address?

Yes, the JETFORM form is simple:

Sender name, sender address, subject, and message.

For some strange reason, if the “force from address” checkbox is unchecked, the form doesn’t work.

And if the checkbox is checked, the sender address, subject, and message fields are sent correctly to the destination, but the SENDER NAME change is overwritten, so we never know the name of the person who filled out the form.

I’ve tried making changes to the names of the fields in Jetform, but it’s always the same result.

Some SMTP providers reject the connection if the account’s from address doesn’t match. That’s why we added the option to force from address entered in the plugin settings (which includes the name and email).

When the force from address option is unchecked, the plugin doesn’t make any changes to the from address. The email is sent with the from address set on your website.

We have added two new options to customize the from address better. Please let us know if it helps with this issue.

I truly appreciate the effort you’ve put in, and even the fact that you updated the plugin. But honestly, the problem remains the same.

The JetForm form doesn’t send emails unless I check the “force from address” box. I believe that’s the main issue.

And then, if I do check that box, the messages I receive from the form lose the sender’s name along the way.

Thanks to everyone for the effort.
(If you’d like, and you give me an email address, I can send you WordPress credentials so you can check the issue yourself.)

If we understood right, enabling the “Force From Email” option should resolve the issue now (everything else should be disabled).

    You are right !!!

    Now is working.

Perhaps you should provide a little more documentation, because the options seem similar, but it works now.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
