    Prior to 4.0, the Imagify image optimization plugin had good integration with NGG. Newly uploaded images were automatically optimized, and there was a way to optimize multiple images or entire galleries through bulk optimization.

    The new plugin menu does not show Bulk Optimization, it’s only visible if you re-enable the NextGEN Gallery menu.

    Unfortunately, Bulk Optimization within NextGEN Gallery is now broken…. Selecting it takes you to a page to run the process but it completes quickly and reports 0 images optimized. I can go into individual galleries and optimize images one at a time, but with thousands of images that is not practical. The bulk optimize screen does accurately reflect the number of images I’ve manually optimized in the gallery.

    PLEASE – how can this be fixed? Such a useful function to lose with the new version…..

    Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

    Due to the recent changes in the NextGEN Gallery UI, the Imagify team will need to make adjustments to re-implement the image optimization feature that was compatible with the older NextGEN Gallery design.

    I recommend contacting the Imagify team to see if they can review and update this from their end.
