How to add new capabilities in shop manager roles?

    I want to add the Edit menu to the Shop Manager role as a capability to edit the Customer and Write menus.

    Can you provide a bit more context? I’m not totally certain what you’re referring to when you say “Edit menu” and “Write menu”.

    I need to add a new capability by editing the edit menu in the members plugin. So even those with shop manager rules can edit the menu. So now how do I get a new Capability?
    Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus

    Hope you’re having a great day!

    Could you please try to share a screenshot for menu page that you’re referring to? As I created a shop manager role that has Edit Theme Options capability and I was able to edit WP Dashboard > Apperanace > Menus.

    I need to give the shop manager the role of edit menus in the members plugin. But, The setting in the first page is not showing in the shop manager role. so What should I do if I want to give that role?

    Hi @nairajoshi,

    Please make sure that role has Edit Theme Options as this screenshot.

    PL note we only give option to edit menu and nothing else so pl suggest how that can be done? by using any custom capability if yes pl give the capability name and process

    That will require custom developement, I recommend check memberfix for that.
