    Hello again.
I’ve created several variable products and want to inherit the ratings from the simple products I grouped together.

Unfortunately, I deleted some of these simple products, which prevents me from inheriting them using a code snippet.

I’ve reviewed the Customer Reviews for WooCommerce documentation and other users’ themes on this page, but I haven’t found anything related to this.
Is there a way to inherit ratings on variable products?

I have to say, I’ve disabled your plugin, and the star ratings are still showing.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for using CusRev.

Please notice that, if you delete a product that has reviews, the reviews will also be deleted. It is the standard feature of WooCommerce.

If you want to display reviews of some specific products or products in a category, you can use a review shortcode. Please go to admin area > Reviews > Settings > Shortcodes tab, to get more details.

If it still doesn’t work, please share the review shortcode that you are using and product page URL where I can see that. I will help you check the issue.

    Thanks for your reply, @pear8398
I don’t think I explained the problem well.
The products I want to inherit the reviews from have already been deleted.
en ocasiones, las reseñas y comentarios de productos eliminados, quedan como huérfanas, y es la opción que estaba revisando, pero no me encuentro muy confiado en mis conocimientos de SQL, y no quiero dañar el sitio web
When Google searches for the new VARIABLE products, it detects the metadata for those deleted products.
I came here thinking you might have encountered this situation and resolved it somehow:

    • re-importing the products
    • searching the database for those reviews
    • any way to bring those reviews back to the Variable product.

Sorry to bother you; I really think I’m asking too many questions for a free support service like this, and I feel embarrassed.
I’m testing, since I have backups from a while ago, and I want to see how I can do it.
If a solution comes up, I’ll post it here so it can benefit the community.
    Thanks again,
    Best regards

    Thanks for your additional information.

Importing products or metadata is beyond our plugin’s scope. If you find a solution to resolve your issue, feel free to post and share it here with other users.

    Hi @bagel1317
No, I haven’t solved it yet.
    I’m sorry I didn’t write anything.
I’ll only be out of work for two months due to illness.
If I can fix it when I get back, I’ll send the solution.
    Thanks
