    Hi,

    I need to create a calendar for a hotel and would like to create day ranges instead of hours, but I don’t know how to set up the calendar. I tried entering days instead of hours, but the calendar isn’t available on the front end. Could you give me some guidance on how to proceed?

    Hello Umberto! To create day ranges, you’d need to use the “Specific start times” option in your WP-admin area > Appointments > Appointment Types > Edit appointment type > Availability tab. There you can define the specific time for bookings, as the availability window option ensures the appointment will fit in that time rather than specifically start at it. We have a guide on this too.

    Thanks for your help!
    However, I can’t set it up so a customer can book more than one day. If I were a customer who decided to book a specific week, how would I do that?

    Thanks for getting back to us @umberto69! We do have a nifty guide that goes over how to set up full-day or multiple-day bookings with a bit of a workaround and some tweaking: click here.

    This would involve:

    • Setting the duration in the Basics tab to the days you need
    • Using Specific Start Times in the Availability tab
    • Selecting the times you’re available, setting that start time

    Hi,

    I read the guide and watched your demo. I thought the customer could select multiple days on the calendar and activate them with one click.
    However, from what I understand, the duration is set by the calendar manager. For example, if the hotel manager sets the calendar to 5 days, the customer who books won’t be able to select 2 or 3 days, but only the start date and automatically 5 days. Did I understand correctly?

    Hello @umberto69, if you mean to book multiple days in one go (as in, selecting the dates individually, and booking in one form submission) or offer flexible booking to allow the user to select their chosen durations, I’m afraid we don’t have a way to do this currently 🙁 This is one of our most-requested features though, and we hope to add it in the future, though we don’t have an exact ETA.
