headers not updating

    Installed the plug-in on my standalone site.

    Enabled several security headers, like Strict-Transport-Security, X-XSS-Protection, X-Content-Type-Options, Content-Security-Policy.

    When I Inspect Headers they do not appear. Any idea what’s not working?

    stumbled upon the solution.

    We’re running on AWS Lightsail. Have to change AllowOverride None to AllowOverride All in /opt/bitnami/apache/conf/vhosts/wordpress-vhost.conf. Then our changes to .htaccess become effective.
