Gravity Form redirect with Akismet

    I have a redirect set on form submit, but it doesn’t work when Akismet is toggled on.

    While it’s toggled on, not still 100% sure, but redirect seems to be working fine when regular entry, but when detected as spam by Akismet, it stays on the same page and displays a generic message:
    “Thanks for contacting us! We will get in touch with you shortly.”

    What’s the catch here?

    I think that is Gravity Forms’s intended behavior so that spam messages don’t trigger the post-submission redirects and other actions, but you would have to contact them to be sure.

    Interesting. This is what their website says:

    “When an entry is marked as Spam by a compatible anti-spam method, feeds and notifications will not be processed.”

    If it also includes Confirmations (Redirect) then it could be it.

    I’m going to mark this as resolved for now, but if you find that redirections should still be processed, post here and I’ll investigate.
