• This has been an invaluable plugin on all of the sites that I run for years.

    A lot of sites. Like, somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 of them, in multisite networks.

    And with the latest update, it now, by default, emails me a weekly “summary” from every one of those sites, and I have to go through and turn it off. Site by site. One by one. Ask me how much I hate these guys today. Just ask me.

    You are 100% right. I understand why you would be angry at us. We did not fully consider the implications of this decision. We were not aware that many users install our plugin on hundreds, and in some cases, thousands of websites.

    We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences caused by this issue. To address this, we will be releasing update 5.3.2 later today, within the next few hours. The upgrade will automatically disable all weekly notifications by default. Moving forward, weekly notifications will only be enabled for new installations.

    Once again, we regret any disruption this may have caused, and we appreciate your patience and support. Also, we truly appreciate your feedback. It helps us build a better plugin.
