Hi! First of all, I was excited to find your plugin. The interface works really well.

However, when I press the download button, I’m getting this error:

    —

    Your file couldn’t be accessed

It may have been moved, edited, or deleted.

    ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND

    —

I checked to make sure there wasn’t an www conflict like I saw in one of the other threads. Not sure what else to check. We are trying to launch this page soon, so hope you can help.

    Thanks!

    Jen

    Hi Jen,

Thanks for opening the thread, and apologies for the delayed response. I was on vacation over the past few weeks.

I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on my other sites where the extension is installed. After investigating your website, it appears that the Transition plugin you are using may be causing the issue. This plugin listens for link clicks on the page, cancels the default click behavior, and redirects the tab to the links URL to play its page transition animation.

The Social Profile Frame Generator plugin downloads files by creating a hidden link and programmatically clicking it. However, the Transition plugin appears to intercept this click, preventing the download and redirecting the tab to the blob: URL instead. To confirm whether this is the cause, we recommend temporarily deactivating the Transition plugin and checking whether the download works as expected.

If the issue persists even after disabling the Transition plugin, please perform a conflict check by temporarily deactivating your other plugins, one at a time, and testing the frame download after each deactivation. This will help us identify whether another plugin is causing the conflict.

Please let us know the results so we can investigate further if needed.

Thanks for your patience and looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your thorough response! Disabling the transition plugin (which we aren’t currently utilizing) fixed the issue! Thanks!!

I am glad I could point you in the right direction and that the frame is now downloading correctly after you deactivated the conflicting Transition plugin.

Closing this issue as its fixed, and don’t hesitate to open a new thread if you face any other issues. Have a great day ahead!
