Hi @sdagency,
Thanks for reaching out!
Please note that we’re using Google’s favicon API (https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?sz=64&domain=example.com) to retrieve the exact image Google would display on their SERP.
Could you please verify if your website’s current favicon is crawled and displayed at the following URL: https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?sz=64&domain=yourdomain.com? I couldn’t check it, as you’ve changed the domain on the shared URL.
If Google does not display your favicon at https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?sz=64&domain=yourdomain.com, it will not appear on the AIOSEO > Search Appearance page.
Here’s an example:

Please note that the Google Favicon crawler (which is the user agent for crawling favicons) is a low-volume crawler that may visit the home page of your site occasionally, and Updates can take a few days or longer to appear in search results –

It is also important to note that as per Google’s documentation below, a favicon isn’t guaranteed in Google Search results, even if all guidelines are met.
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/favicon-in-search#guidelines
Hence, the best you can do is to follow the guidelines fully and see if Google shows or updates your favicon in search results.
You may also clear your website & server’s cache and follow the steps below to request Google to crawl your Homepage again, which might help reduce the time required to update the favicon on the search results –
1. Go to Google Search Console and enter the URL of your homepage in the Inspect any URL field at the top. Once Google has retrieved the data, you should see a results screen with green checkmarks that mean everything is fine.
2. Next, click the TEST LIVE URL button, and once Google has tested that URL, it should show the results.
3. Finally, click the REQUEST INDEXING button. Once Google has processed that, a popup should be displayed having the results.
Once you’ve done this, give Google a few days to crawl the website again and see if the favicon gets updated. Please keep in mind that this is an automated process, and we have no control over Google.
I hope this helps.
Thanks!
