    There’s an issue with the latest version of the Stripe plugin + Terminal where the site crashes because some dependencies are not found.

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/v5-6-breaks-the-site-with-stripe-terminal/

    Please check the link above for more details.

    The Terminal for Stripe and WooCommerce plugin requires several dependencies from the Stripe Gateway, which were changed in the latest version. See wp-content/plugins/terminal-for-stripe-and-woocommerce/terminal-for-stripe-and-woocommerce.php‘s init() function for reference.

    I guess we shouldn’t be relying on that approach.

    Hi Ricardo,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We are aware of this issue and will have a release early next week. We’ll gladly update this thread as soon as that update is made available.

    Perhaps you can initialize Terminal with a lower priority than Stripe, so that it will load after Stripe, and that way you don’t need to manually include Stripe’s files in order to use it.

    Hi Ricardo,

    The latest update has been released (2.1.1) please feel free to download and install as needed.

    Thanks for the tip, that seems like a pretty reasonable solution. We’ll certainly take a look and see if that works.

    @arcanedevops I’m only seeing 2.1.0, not 2.1.1.

    Please try now. It was available in the advanced path here as well: https://wordpress.org/plugins/terminal-for-stripe-and-woocommerce/advanced/

    Hi Folks,

    Per Ricardo’s recommendation this plugin will be de-prioritized to load after the first 98 action calls with all hard-coded dependencies removed in v2.1.2 (built and tested).

    For the sake of allowing you all to test without interruption we will be deploying this first to the tags/archive so that you can manually download the updated version 2.1.2 from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/terminal-for-stripe-and-woocommerce/advanced/

    This update will be committed tonight 10/6/21. It will to live to the master/trunk either following confirmation of testing by a member of this thread or 3 days (whichever comes first).
