Removed dsgnwrks_insta_users and dsgnwrks_insta_options from my site’s database and tried to authenticate again with Instagram but I get the fatal error anyway.
For a temporary solution, remove any special characters (e.g. Emoji) from your instagram profile and try authenticating again.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I’ve removed all the emoji from both my profile’s name + description but when I try to authenticate again now I get a different error:
Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/***/***/wp-content/plugins/dsgnwrks-instagram-importer/dsgnwrks-instagram-importer.php on line 976
Ok, can you try erasing the options from the database again?

Are those dsgnwrks_insta_users and dsgnwrks_insta_options entries the only two I need to erase?

Still no luck authenticating. I keep getting that error, is there anyway I can help you troubleshoot this with your debug plug-in?

(tried using another instagram account but still no luck – I wonder if there’s another entry on the database created by the plug-in that I’m not finding)

Ok, it’s working now, it seems I was missing the database entry but now I’ve managed to successfully erase it and authenticate correctly 🙂
Thanks!

Are you considering supporting the Emoji on the profile someday? Thanks!
That is just a bug that happens during the authentication process. You should be able to add them back now.

Just another question, is there some way to output the Instagram’s post text without all the hashtags? Thanks!
Yes, if you update to version 1.2.6, released today, there is an option for that.
