Hi, Is there a problem with the plugin? It creates a problem with my login to WordPress…I tried to disable all the plugins and I found this one is causing the problem…I updated to the latest WordPress and the problem persists…I love the simplicity of this plugin and would love to keep using it. Thanks

  • Hi,
Thank you for reporting the issue.
I have checked but there’s no issue with the login on my site.
Please let me know step by step to replicate the issue.
    Best regards

I encountered the same issue where the sites comes in a redirect loop.

Sorry, I’m unable to replicate the issue to debug it. There may be a conflict with another plugin.
Can you confirm if the issue persists when it’s the only active plugin?

It is because some login cookies are disabled (even for wp-admin) until you accept them on the front-end. Go to “General” and then make sure you have set this cookie prefixes as “Strictly necessary cookies prefix”:
    wp,wordpress,woocommerce,PHPSESSID
After those you can add your custom ones as you wish.

Thank you for the information @saznajnovo, hope this will help the thread starter and others who may have the same issue.

By default, we set wp-settings,wordpress_logged_in,wp_woocommerce_session,woocommerce as “Strictly necessary cookies prefix” but we and our users have never experienced the same login issue(we also use this plugin on our official website https://villatheme.com/).

If necessary, we can add your suggestions to the default list to avoid similar issue to new users of this plugin.

    Best regards

Sorry, I’ve just checked the plugin again with the “Block cookies until accepting” enabled and it actually causes the issue. Your suggestion about the “Strictly necessary cookies prefix” option is correct.
I will release a new version to change the default settings as you suggested.
    Best regards

Hi, yes, I knew that the user had a problem when “Block cookies until accepting” is enabled because I had the same problem when that option is enabled, too (and only then). My list is, let’s say, for start only, it is very loose, it “catch” a lot of cookies. You should try to keep restricting it incrementally until you come to the breaking point. The point of that is to have as little as possible “Strictly necessary cookies”. The wider the prefix is, the more cookies will be considered as “necessary” – and some of them will not be necessary.

Thank you, I will recheck the necessary cookies list to make sure it does not affect the basic functions of WordPress and WooCommerce.
    Best regards
