@rucha123, Do you have any other SMTP/Mail plugin installed?
I have tried 2-3 plugins before that. But I removed it.
I also have this issue
No other mail plugins installed

Hi, I think the problem still exists. Just installed the plugin and tried to send a test mail, and then got this error, too.
I guess the problem is that the classes PHPMailer and phpmailerException are already included by WordPress, right?
Hope you can fix this soon.
Just to clear things up: The error only occurs, when the plugin tries to throw an error. For example, leave the SMTP port setting blank, and try to send a test mail – then you will run into this error.
Hi there,
I’m having the same error but only with mailpoet.
Woocommerce emails are sending but mailpoet newsletters are not.
I’m assuming this is a mailpoet error and have contacted them, figured I’d also check and see if it was something that needed fixing from your end.
Appreciate any help you might be able to provide.
Kind regards,
JP

I too am having this issue with MailPoet and Gmail SMTP.
Same here MailPoet and Gmail SMTP. Tried Easy SMTP and worked for a while but now I’m having issues with that one also.
Only 250 emails sent in batch of 70/h
