    Hi,

    I got the error message
“Bei der Wiedergabe der E-Mail-Vorschau ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Dies hat keinen Einfluss auf die tatsächliche E-Mail-Zustellung. Bitte kontaktieren Sie den Autor der Erweiterung, um Hilfe zu erhalten.”

at the preview of the emails in the settings.
    Also I can’t send me Test-Emails.

    All updates are installed.

    What can I do?

    Hi @1stsol

I understand how concerning it is to see that error when trying to preview your emails, especially since it makes it difficult to confirm that your emails are displaying correctly. Let’s work together to get more details so we can identify what’s causing this.

Could you let me know when you first started noticing this issue? Was it after a recent update to WooCommerce or another plugin on your site? That will help us narrow down whether a change might have triggered it.

It would also be helpful if you could share:
    — A screenshot of the error message as it appears on your screen. You can upload it to https://snipboard.io and paste the link here.
    — Your site’s System Status Report, which you can get from WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support. Please paste that report into a service like https://pastebin.com or https://gist.github.com and share the link here.

With that information, we’ll be in a better position to investigate and suggest the next steps. Looking forward to your update!

    Hi @1stsol

Thank you for sharing both the screenshot and your System Status Report. I’ve reviewed the error message and the details from your report, and I can see that the WP HTML Mail – Email Template Designer plugin is active on your site. Since the error message suggests contacting the author of the extension, it’s likely that this plugin is interfering with the email preview and preventing test emails from being sent.

As a next step, I recommend temporarily deactivating the WP HTML Mail plugin and then trying the email preview and test email again. If the issue goes away, that confirms the plugin is the source of the conflict. In that case, you could reach out to the plugin’s support team for guidance on resolving the issue while still using their template designer.

Please try deactivating that plugin and let us know the result. That will help us confirm the cause and determine the best next step.

    Hi,

cause of your tipp to deactivate some plugins I used the troubleshooting plugin.
So I identified the plugin, which makes to problems.

It is: DHL Shipping Germany for WooCommerce

If I deactive this plugin, the preview is available.

    Hello @1stsol,

Thanks for following up and for sharing your troubleshooting results. Based on what you’ve found, it looks like the DHL Shipping Germany for WooCommerce plugin is causing the email preview and test email issues when it’s active. When you deactivate this plugin, the previews work correctly, confirming a plugin conflict.

Since this is a third-party plugin, it’s not maintained directly by WooCommerce, so we don’t have the ability to fix the issue in the plugin itself. Here’s what you can do next:

    1. Contact the plugin developer/support
      • You can reach them via the plugin’s WordPress.org support forum: DHL Shipping Germany for WooCommerce
      • Provide the details you already gathered, including your System Status Report and the error screenshot. This helps the plugin team identify the conflict and provide a fix.
    2. Temporary workaround
      • Deactivate the DHL plugin while sending email previews or test emails.
      • Once the plugin developer releases a fix, you can reactivate it.

This isn’t a WooCommerce core bug, but rather a plugin compatibility issue. Contacting the plugin support team is the best way to get a permanent solution.

It’s been a while since we heard back from you for this reason we are closing this thread.

If WooCommerce has been useful for your store and you appreciate the support you’ve received, we’d truly appreciate it if you could leave us a quick reviewhere:

Feel free to open a new forum topic if you run into any other problem.

Same problem is (currently) caused by the Packlink Pro for WooCommerce plugin.

    Hi @felixo

I appreciate you sharing that update. Just to confirm, are you mentioning that you’re experiencing the same email preview error and have already identified the Packlink Pro for WooCommerce plugin as the cause? Or are you still seeing the issue and would like help troubleshooting further?

If you’ve confirmed that the Packlink Pro plugin is indeed the source, the best next step would be to reach out directly to the plugin’s developers via their support forum so they can investigate and provide a fix specific to their integration.

However, if you’d like us to review your setup in more detail or help confirm the cause, please open your own support topic. That allows us to look into your specific configuration and follow the forum guidelines for personalized troubleshooting.

Once you’ve created your topic, we can follow up quickly.

    Hi,
thanks. I’ve reached out to them already but their support ist usually not helpful at all, stalling and not resolving. I just added this note here so that other users might have an easier time finding the cause of the problem.

    Hi @felixo

Thank you for the clarification and for taking the time to share your experience here. It’s really helpful for other users who might encounter the same issue to know that the Packlink Pro for WooCommerce plugin is involved.

Hopefully, as more users reach out to the plugin developers with the same report, they’ll be able to prioritize and release a fix to address the conflict. Your input definitely contributes to making that happen sooner.

Please keep us informed if you receive any updates or a workaround from their team.
