Hello @cdheumann ,
Could you please go to dashboard > Permalinks and click Save without any modifications. After that, please go to Downloads > Settings > Advanced > Miscellaneous and click Clear Transients and let us know if this worked for you.
Also, have you changed anything regarding the SSL?
Kind Regards,
Razvan
Thanks for the very quick reply.
I’ve deleted the website cache same times, deactivated it, saved the permalinks, and do the clear transients.
But the Error is still there. I also tried it in different browsers.
The host says that SSL wasn’t affected by the changes and in the hosters dashboard everything is fine.
Coukld you please verify that in dashboard > Settings > General the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) have https ?
An interesting thing is, https://boerbenstriet.de/downloads/ the first Download says it has secure connection problem and the later 2 can be downloaded. Could you also check that the first Download ( ID 1392 ) has https protocol where you specify file URL?
Kind Regards!
Razvan
I’ve found out that there seems to be a problem with the files that don’t have a “Forward to file” check mark.
The downloads without forwarding has for example this URL:
https://boerbenstriet.de/dl/Boerbenstriet_02-Mut_WEB.pdf
The folder permission is 755 and the file permission 644
Site Adress and WordPress Adress have SSL.
