I would like to know if I can change the layout – at the moment, it’s aligned to the left – I would like this to be centre-aligned. This would look a lot nicer.

There are a number of approaches to customizing the look and feel of the forms. The easiest is to use the WordPress Customizer, but there are other more involved and/or advanced options as well.
