I set up SchedulePress and activated the facebook dev application for Instagram.

The posts have been created ahead of time on the main site for the next several weeks. However, when they publish, each post is being submitted to Insta twice…

any ideas why and/or how to fix this?

edit – I saw a post lower down about double posts on Twitter/X… so I changed the “How often to share a post” from the default of “0” to “1” — we’ll see if this resolves the issue… If so, you might want to add a (help) icon to that setting, or include the need for that setting in your FAQ. (I did check there first)

    Hello @kindred

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details.

I’ve checked on my end, and SchedulePress shares the post only once to Instagram. If it’s appearing twice on your profile, the duplication may be happening due to a specific configuration or setting on your site. Checking this directly on your site will help identify the cause.

Also, the change you made setting “How often to share a post” to 1 is indeed a good step. This adjustment should help prevent duplicate sharing from your end.

Please keep an eye on your upcoming scheduled posts, and let us know if the issue continues so we can review it further.

    Warm regards,
