Do Comment Likes Require Jetpack Comments to be enabled?

    Do Comment Likes Require Jetpack Comments to be enabled? We’re trying to get them to work on the Tavern after enabling them in the Discussion Settings but are not seeing them on the frontend. Are there other settings required for them to work? I see the new column for them in the Comments screen but no option to like a comment on new or old posts.

    Hi there,

    Jetpack’s Comment Likes and Comments module don’t need to go hand-in-hand, one can work without the over. It’s possible that there’s another conflict here.

    Before we dive into it deeper, can you please try once to toggle the comment likes module on/off through our full module list – You can access the list by going to Jetpack > Dashboard, scroll down to the bottom, and click the Debug link:

    It looks like the problem was due to a conflict with the Epoch plugin. I have temporarily disabled it and now Comment Likes work. We’ll be speaking with the plugin authors to see if they can add compatibility for Jetpack Likes. Thanks for your help!
