Divi Theme Builder ?

Hi there.
I am trying your plugin which seems great.
I just created an easy first filter and tried to insert the short code [fe_widget] in the Divi Theme Builder, but nothing showed…Any help is welcome, thank you.

Hi @patrickhaond
Can you please send screenshots showing exactly how you configured the filter set, as well as how you added the shortcode in Divi? Also, please provide the link to the exact page where the filter is supposed to be displayed.
Best Regards,
Victorthank you @fesupportteam for your answer.
I just make a simple test.

and here is the shortcode in Divi Theme Builder on Shop page.

The result is nothing showed on shop page.
Hi @patrickhaond
Can you please attach the full filter set settings?
Also, it would be helpful if you could send the link to the page where you are trying to display this filter set. In the free version, the filters may not be displayed on certain types of pages, so having the link will allow us to check everything quickly and provide accurate information.
Best Regards,
VictorThe page you selected is a single page, and the Free version of the plugin works only on the archive pages of the post type that you want to filter and only with the main query.
Starting from upcoming updates, the Free version will allow displaying filters on different page types; however, it will still work only with the main query. In most cases, Divi uses custom queries to display posts, especially on single pages, so the filters might not work there.
Also, make sure you clear all cache plugins. Alternatively, for testing purposes, switch to the default 2025 theme and place the shortcode on the page without using the Divi page builder, just to check whether the filters appear on that page in general.
Best Regards,
VictorOk and thank you @fesupportteam .
However if I can not test with the theme I will use, I could not choose your plugin.Thanks.

Hi @patrickhaond
Yes, that’s a very fair point, and that’s why we want to expand the free version to add more functionality to it.
Initially, when the plugin was in development, WordPress did not have a standard way to create queries to display posts. This feature was introduced with Gutenberg and later became a standard part of WordPress themes. This is why filters are only displayed on archive pages by default, as these are the pages where WordPress displays the posts you want to filter by default. Therefore, we want to extend some features to meet modern standards.
If there are no changes, it will most likely be implemented in the next update.
Best Regards,
VictorThank a lot @fesupportteam for your time and explanation !
