• After using the free version many times in the past. I purchased the Pro version specifically to update selected WooCommerce product variations, but it did not work as expected, despite following the instructions carefully.

I was also unhappy that customers are required to agree to waive their right to request a refund once the plugin has been downloaded. This feels particularly unfair when there is no proper opportunity to test whether the paid features will work with your website first.

Unfortunately, the plugin did not achieve what I purchased it for, so I cannot recommend the Pro version based on my experience.

Before buying, you can always test the free version of the plugin. The difference is in the available data, not in the features described here: https://bulk-editor.com/downloads – so always try before buy

Yes, I am familiar with the free version and have used it successfully for many years. Unfortunately, the Pro version did not perform the variation update it was purchased for, despite following the instructions carefully.

Fortunately, we were able to create our own script to complete the task automatically. However, I am disappointed that I have been charged for a product that did not work for our requirements, particularly as the refund waiver leaves customers with little recourse once the plugin has been downloaded.

    Hello

I want to answer this properly.

Variation editing is not what you paid for. The variations mode is in the free version, not behind the paywall, and so is targeting specific attribute combinations. The paid version raises limits, unlocks bulk editing for a number of less common fields, and removes the ten rows per page cap, but the core operation you describe, updating selected variations in bulk, runs in the free build you had already been using for years. That is why we say test before buying, and it is why I do not accept that there was no opportunity to check.

You have also never told us what actually happened. Not here, not on our support forum, not by email. There is no description of what you selected, what you pressed, or what the result was. My colleague invited you to open a ticket a day ago and the invitation still stands. I will even guess at it, since the symptom is a common one: if the variations switch above the table is left off, a bulk operation is applied to the parent products, and a variable product takes its price from its variations, so nothing visibly changes. That single switch is the difference between the operation working and appearing to do nothing. If that was it, it is a minute of work to confirm. If it was something else, I want to know, because a real bug with variations would affect other customers too.

On the refund terms, that is our stated policy for a downloadable product and it is shown at checkout before the payment, not after. You are free to disagree with it, and saying so publicly is your right.

And one thing I will say plainly rather than imply. You write that you solved the task by building your own script. If that was within your reach, then the plugin was never something you needed, and I am left wondering why it was bought at all. That is not a rhetorical jab, it is the part I honestly do not follow.

The offer is unchanged. Describe what you were trying to do and what happened instead, here https://pluginus.net/support/forum/woobe-woocommerce-bulk-editor-professional/, and I will look at it. If it turns out to be our bug, it gets fixed. For further communication use please: https://pluginus.net/support/forum/woobe-woocommerce-bulk-editor-professional/

    Kind regards, Ross
