Different headers for screen sizes – HTML block theme

Hi,

Just wondering what the ‘industry-standard’, WordPress-compliant protocol is for implementing different headers for different screen sizes. Normally, I would do this by @media declaration in my style.css, but in this instance, the functionality of the header is quite different depending upon screen size viewed.

Is it standard practice to create different header template parts? Create one header with different sections and apply show/hide depending on screen size?

Interested to know if there is a standard way of doing this within an html block theme like 2024.
