Hello @jarrettbpeters
Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin.
For /powermaster-8121-single-position-test-board/, this is the og:image in the page source while this is the featured image. Running the URL through the Facebook sharing debugger, the og:image is what’s fetched. See screenshot.
It would be helpful if you could share a screenshot of what you see from your end.
I am seeing the same thing you are. It appears to me that the og:image and the og:description are coming from Yoast, but not the image and description that I assigned in Yoast.
The og:image and the og:description are the social image and the social description you entered in the social tab of the Yoast SEO meta box. That takes precedence.
If you didn’t upload a social image, then your featured image (the primaryimageofpage property in the page source) is used.
But I didn’t set the 3 Series image (that is showing up) as the 8121 featured image. I don’t understand why the image I entered is not showing up.
It is worth noting that the problem disappears when I deactivate Yoast.
For /powermaster-8121-single-position-test-board/, could you share a screenshot of the social image in the social tab of the Yoast SEO meta box? You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.
Thank you for your help. I have solved the issue.
