Plugin works 99% except for one thing that makes it pretty much useless. When I have consent mode enabled (as you should, otherwise the plugin doesn’t even update consent) the default consent insertion happens too late, some scripts have already read the default consent state as “missing”, and you can clearly see with tag assistant that consent initialization fails, and default consent appear much later. I have remedied it by adding a script to my head section which initializes the default consent state. But there is still a problem which I haven’t been able to find a solution to. Now my consent is correctly initialized. Then a “config” update sets the consent update to “granted” (this happens by the Pressidium plugin). But then the plugin comes in and resets the default consent back to “disabled” and then sets the on-page update to “granted” again. So, in essence, it seems to be like a pendulum between two states for a moment. I think this can potentially cause tracking errors. So now I am looking for a different cookie consent plugin. Unless the developers could fix it, please? Does not seem like a difficult problem. Just initialize the default consent in the head as early as possible.
