    Hello,

I have been using the Elementor(Version 3.27.6 ) plugin for the past 18 months without any issues. I have recently noticed that an update is available for WordPress to version 6.8.1, but there is a warning stating that this plugin has not been tested with the current version of WordPress. Also it shown compatibility alert warning for funnel kit plugin and Ultimate Addons for Elementor Lite that Some of the plugins you’re using have not been tested with the latest version of Elementor (3.29.0).

Could you please confirm whether updating to WordPress 6.8.1 may cause any compatibility issues with this plugin?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

  • I have the same problem. WordPress 6.8.1, updating Elementor to 3.29.0 caused the site to crash.
I was able to restore it by restoring a backup.

Interesting that the Elementor team hasn’t responded at all for four days!

So, dear Elementor team: Please make it compatible with WordPress 6.8.1.

    Thanks

    Dear sunofar

Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention and for your dedication to helping us improve our product.

We’ve attempted to reproduce the issue you described on our test site, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to replicate the behavior.

To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins not just elementor addons (besides Elementor). If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Nineteen and see if it makes any difference.

Also, this could happen due to our Elementor performance experiments you can try to deactivate them. To deactivate them you can go to Elementor > settings > features

    • Element Caching – Elements caching reduces loading times by serving up a copy of an element instead of rendering it fresh every time the page is loaded. When active, Elementor will determine which elements can benefit from static loading – but you can override this.
    • Inline Font Icons – This experiment renders icons as SVGs without loading the Font-Awesome and eicons libraries. Since SVGs are vector-based images which are rendered using the browser’s engine, they do not increase server requests which improves performance.

    Looking forward hearing from you.

    Kind reagards

    Hello @miloss84 ,

Thank you for your responce but now i am facing another issue. There is update available for Elementor to version 3.29.2. Still is it not compatible with wordpress 6.8.1. But there is issue in site it not change my currency to GBP. There is two currency in site USD and GBP..When i select GBP it still shows dollar price. It is happening because of Elementor update. because there is no update available for FOX currency plugin. Please help me.

I understand the issue you’re experiencing with the display of currency symbols. This may already be resolved in a more recent version of Elementor.

If you haven’t done so yet, I recommend updating to the latest version—Elementor 3.30.2—as it may contain a fix for the problem. Once updated, please check if the issue persists and let us know.

We’ll be happy to assist further if needed.
