change permalink

    Hi,

    I need to change the permalink for a page that is no longer in use. How can I do this? When I try to edit, it only allows the last part of the link to be edited.
    I am a novice with both wordpress and pagebuilder, so apoplogies if it appears to be a silly question!

    Hi Karen,

    Yes that’s right you can only change the last part of the link i.e not the domain name etc.

    However, let us know what you are trying to achieve as they may be another way,

    Hi Jamie,

    The permalink contains a tab (link, path?) that was used on our old website, the part of the link that has changed is in the unchangeable area.
    Also, there appears to be a problem with the payment page when upgrading to pro; I just tried to upgrade and the payment method declined (I tried 2 different cards, and there is no problem with either of them).

    Could you let me know the new and old link ?

    re upgrading – Sometimes the card will not work if the address is entered incorrectly , so this may the problem. We’ve had other orders today so this should be working 🙂

    Hi Jamie,

    I have just purchased Pagebuilder Pro through your website 🙂 Will install later today.

    FYI: It still didn’t work when I tried to use the upgrade tab on the pagebuilder plugin when I was logged into my website.

    The old link is:
    http://chevintechnology.com/products/ethernet-ip/

    The new link is:
    http://chevintechnology.com/ethernet-ip/
