Hey there,
Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.
The Advanced Header block typically uses the Site Identity Block to display the Site Logo. This block functions dynamically, meaning that any changes made to the Site Identity Image will be reflected everywhere the image is used. However, if you’re using WPML, there’s a solution to manage this.
WPML provides an add-on for translating media/images, allowing you to select the Site Logo Image and change it based on the current language. You can learn more about this feature by clicking here.
Another option is to replace the Advanced Header Site Identity Block with an Advanced Image Block in the second language. This allows you to change the image as needed for the alternate language.
I hope this was helpful to you.
Hey @jinsley8
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you. I want to confirm if we can further help you with this. We are happy to assist.
Otherwise, I will go ahead and mark this topic as resolved.
Thanks,
Victor
None of these options seem to work.
I’m leaning more towards the Adv image block, I send the header for translation, select the different image in WPML. It should all work but the frontend still shows the english image on the EN and FR pages
Okay, I think it’s finally working if Adv Header is not inside a header template part and I use the Adv. Image block instead of Site Identity.
Hey @jinsley8
Thanks for the update. To confirm, is this now working for you? If so, I will go ahead and mark this topic as resolved. If not, I am happy to continue helping.
Thanks,
