• Hello,

I’m experiencing a PHP warning issue in the WordPress admin that appears to be caused by JJeg Kit for Elementor

When the plugin is active, the following warnings are displayed in the admin area.
As soon as I disable Jeg Kit for Elementor s, the warnings disappear completely and everything works as expected.Error messages

Warning: Attempt to read property "post_status" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2309 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_status" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2313 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_status" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2319 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_status" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2323 Warning: Attempt to read property "ID" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2327 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_status" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2331 Warning: Attempt to read property "ID" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2336 Warning: Attempt to read property "ID" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2340 Warning: Attempt to read property "ID" on null in /var/www/webroot/ROOT/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2345

    Additional info

    • WordPress: latest version
    • Elementor: active
    • PHP: 8.3
    • Theme: Hello Theme

It looks like the plugin is trying to access a post object that is null in the admin template, which causes these warnings.

Could you please check if this is a known compatibility issue or advise how to fix it?

Thanks in advance for your support.

    Best regards,
    Ivo

    Hello Ivo,

We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response and for any inconvenience you have experienced. Previously, you created a forum topic stating that the issue occurs when activating the JetEngine or JetPlugins. Could you please confirm which statement is correct? Does the issue occur when the Jeg Kit plugin is active, or when JetEngine/JetPlugins are active?

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/causing-php-warnings/

To help us better understand this issue, could you please provide a screenshot showing how the error or warning message appears on your site? Unfortunately, we are unable to determine which part of the Jeg Kit code is causing the error or warning at this time. The error.log you provided does not reference the Jeg Kit plugin path at all, which makes it difficult for us to identify the source of the issue.

For this reason, we would need your assistance in providing a trace log so we can clearly see the plugin paths from the beginning to the end of the process where the error or warning occurs. You can use the Query Monitor plugin to view the caller or location information in a clear and detailed manner.

We look forward to your reply.

    Thank you
