Cannot save or update settings with latest version

    I just updated the plugin, but now it will not let me save any adjustments to the settings. I get an error on the admin side saying “Failed to update settings.” As as result, the text on my banner (which I didn’t write) is now an incomplete sentence. See it at databook.com. I’m getting an inspection error in the console that says:

    /wp-json/sgcc/v1/options?_locale=user:1

           Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()

    Error 500 is a internal server error. This means server was unable to handle your request.
