• Hello, this has happened multiple times to me and at least one other person I work with. After creating a page with multiple buttons that link to the contacts page or another page on the same site, I’ve found that after verifying the buttons work and jump to the appropriate page, but editing something else on the site (mostly style or layout things) many, if not all the buttons lose their hyperlink. The first two times I thought I had made a mistake, but after re-entering the information and testing repeatedly I see there must be a bigger issue. I’m just using the basic WP without any additional plugins at this point.

  • Hi. It might be helpful to share some screenshots and your URL. It could be caching issues, so you can try to clean your browser cache and cookies.

You might also want to ensure that your WordPress core and theme are up-to-date. Assuming you are not using any plugins. You can try switching to the default WordPress theme to check if the issue persists.

Well currently I’ve corrected the problem and haven’t done any more edits so it won’t show anything. But if it’s a caching issue, why would all the code disappear in edit mode. All the links disappear on the button property.
