Button issue
-
If I update the plugin past 1.63.1 all the button styling breaks. I have tried disabling all plugins other than SiteOrigin and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and the only solution that seems to work is to revert to 1.63.1.
It appears the button background colour style is being overridden to be the same as the section it is on. This can be seen under ‘SEE YOURSELF HERE’ and anywhere else I have a button.
The link provided is using version 1.64.0 with no other active plugins. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hi Ethan
Thanks for getting in touch. If possible, please send us the layout by editing the page, clicking Layouts in Page Builder then Import/Export > Download Layout. Please upload the JSON to WeTransfer.com or similar and share the link here. We’ll test and go from there. Thanks again!
Hi, thanks for the quick response! I Have the link to the JSON file here https://we.tl/t-VB43jJ4h2Q.
Thanks for the layout. The issue doesn’t present for me on import. I’ve asked Alex at SiteOrigin to take a look for us and let us know what he finds.
Oh ok. Thanks!
Hi Eric,
I’ve run a few tests with the provided layout, and I can’t replicate this locally either. Inspecting the button on your site, and this appears to be occuring due to the button missing the
sowb-buttonclass on the Button anchor link. Are you making use of thesiteorigin_widgets_button_attributesfilter? If so, try removing that code to see if that helps.Try temporarily changing to a default WordPress theme. Does it work as expected now?
Kind regards,
Alex
