Bug: sort functionality missing in block themes

    It appears that this plugin doesn’t work with modern, block themes. When using this plugin with a classic theme, users can sort comments by date or popularity. However, when we switch to a block theme that functionality disappears, even though no settings have changed. Will this be addressed in a future update?

    Hi,

    Please make sure the following options are enabled

    1. Display “Most Reacted Comments” filter button
    2. Display “Hottest Comment Threads” filter button

    Both options are located in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Comment Thread Displaying admin page.

    Thanks for the reply, that was really helpful! This was an existing site where we hadn’t changed any wpDiscuz settings, so what we already had enabled was the “Display Comment Sorting Options”.

    However, we had changed the comment pagination setting in WordPress, and by going to that settings page I saw the notice about that setting not working with WordPress comment pagination. Turned that off and all is well! 🎉
