    Hi,

It seems to be some issue when Directorist is used. The breadcrumbs seems to “miss” the top category (the mather).

I think this is an issue of Directorist and not of the SEO Framework. since i tried some breadcrumbos plugins and all behave the same.

Still, is there any wordaround ?

    Thanks

    Hi Dimal,

Sorry for the late reply. Still catching up.

TSF 5.2.0 fixes missing parent categories in breadcrumbs on category archive pages. That may be relevant here, but it requires WordPress 7.0 or later.

I based the new minimum on usage data showing that 96% of TSF users were already running WordPress 7.0 or newer. This wasn’t just a simple increase — the underlying code also changed to better support it.

Could you share the affected URL and show the current and expected breadcrumb trails? Please also confirm whether the breadcrumbs come from TSF’s tsf_breadcrumb shortcode, Directorist, or your theme. That will help establish whether this is the issue addressed in 5.2.0 or whether a different workaround is needed.
