    Hello Support,

I’m still testing the Easy Appointments v3.12.14.

Yesterday, I successfully made a reservation using a Gmail address. In the admin section, I confirmed the booking, and notifications were sent to the admin, worker, and visitor without any issues. Everything worked correctly.

Today, I tried to make another test reservation using the same Gmail address, but the booking was not processed. The plugin didn’t give any error messages or alerts about a limit being exceeded. No emails were sent, and no reservation was recorded in the admin section. There is no trace of the booking as if it was never made.

After that, I used a different email address. The reservation was made successfully, the booking was visible in the admin section, and everyone received their email notifications.

    My Goal/Scenario:

I want a visitor to be able to make only one reservation per day. However, I need them to be able to make multiple reservations for different future dates (on the same day, eg today). How can I achieve this?

My Current Settings (Settings > General):

Busy slots are calculated by same: Worker, Location, and Service
    Compatibility mode: /
    Max number of appointments: 1
Max number of appointments for logged-in user: 0
    Auto reservation: /
    Turn nonce off: /
    Default status: pending
Compress shortcode output (removes new lines from templates): YES
    Customer Search: /

I am confused about the “Max number of appointments” option. What does it actually do?

I also see the option “(Tooltips: Keep 0 for no restriction)” for “Max number of appointments for logged-in user”. Can this also be applied to the “Max number of appointments” option?

Thank you in advance for your help. Regards,

    Hi @akshaycode1,

If you don’t have time to answer now, answer when you can, or don’t answer at all.

I’m sorry, but my time is as precious as yours.

My question is completely simple, specific, and accurate. I provided the exact steps.

    Hi,

As you mentioned, “I am confused about the ‘Max number of appointments’ option. What does it actually do?” : this setting is used for non-logged-in users, and it works based on their IP address. There are some limitations with this option: you should not enter 0 for unlimited bookings. By default, it allows only 10 bookings, but currently, you need to manually set the number of appointments (e.g 1, 100, 1000, etc.). We recognize that this needs improvement and it will be addressed in an upcoming update.

Regarding your other concern : “I also see the option ‘(Tooltip: Keep 0 for no restriction)’ for ‘Max number of appointments for logged-in user.’ Can this also be applied to the ‘Max number of appointments’ option?” : yes, for logged-in users, you can set this value to 0, which means they will have unlimited bookings.

I hope this helps clarify the difference.
