Best Events plugin for developers

I’ve used Events Manager for years as a solo developer who does websites for the classical music niche. It’s the only one I’ve ever found that allows the flexibility I need for the unique needs of that industry, and even though I still have to extend it using ACF, there’s no other plugin that I can completely customize in the theme/plugin PHP as this one. The design in the admin leaves much to be desired but I’ve created my own CSS for that and my clients love it because I never have to tell them I can’t do something, even if the plugin doesn’t natively support something, its placeholders and classes allow me to pretty easily build whatever I need for the project. It works great out of the box too, but for my personal use I mostly appreciate that it lets me extend it so easily.
