Basic shop theme for good customisation

Hi. First post.

I’m new to wordpress and woo commerce having my previous ecommerce sites on Silverstripe and Opencart. I know very basic coding from that but would rather have something simpler now. I am getting a bit bamboozed looking through all the themes. Is there a basic shop template that allows customisation that I can work from. I’m doing a craft store with added tutorials and blog.
