Thank you so much for sharing the requested information.
I can see that you are currently using Gmail via SMTP. To mitigate the issue you’re experiencing, I would recommend switching to the Gmail API, which is more stable and reliable.
To proceed, please click the Relaunch Wizard button on the Post SMTP Dashboard and select the Gmail API (Gmail socket) option. You can follow our comprehensive documentation, which walks through the setup process step by step.
Should you need any assistance during the setup, please feel free to reach out. I’ll be happy to help.
That worked. Once I clicked relaunch wizard and chose the Gmail API a new window popped up and asked for me to give Google permissions for the plugin to send emails. My Client ID and Client secret auto refilled and then I sent a test email which worked.
It seems I just needed to give Google permissions again to fix the plugin. Easy fix.
Thanks for your help!
Hey @johnboy85
I am glad that the issue has been resolved.
If Post SMTP has been useful, I’d request you to leave your kind reviews.
HEllo, I had the same error and I partially solved like suggested in this thread. The problem is that I created the clientID and secret with my personal gmail account, but now is asking me to grant for the company gmail account. How the plugin generate that grant link? why is not redirecting me with the app account owner?
