Hello, when I enable the plugin and be logged in to WordPress, everything is fine. If I log out, the CSS background-images on my website disappear. I use a standard GeneratePress Theme with WP-Rocket. I have tried the caching compatibility mode without any effect.

What exactly is happening with the CSS background images when your plugin processes the page? Could I possibly fix this with a simple CSS rule?

    Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. This may be due to differences in caching and CSS optimization between logged-in and logged-out users with WP Rocket.

To investigate this properly, could you please share:

    • The affected page URL
    • Where exactly the background images are missing (section/element)

This will allow us to check the issue on the frontend and suggest the correct fix or compatibility setting.

Disabling lazy load for background CSS in wp-rocket seems to fix it.

Please tell me an address to send you the URL, I don’t want to publish it public.

Glad to hear that disabling lazy load for background images in WP Rocket fixed the issue. This likely points to a caching or optimization conflict.

    Thanks for your understanding!

One more question, the page, if logged out, first loads light than gets dark. Are there any settings in WP-Rocket to change this behavior?

You can try enabling Exclude WP Dark Mode from Caching.” This excludes WP Dark Mode from server-side caching.
