Authenticate with google
-
The settings are not saved. They get saved and then once i log out from admin and re-log back in i have do re authenticate and enter code. The code is somehow not saved permanently and every time i have to re do the same process.
Seems like there is a bug.

Same thing happens here.
I’m using WordPress 4.7 and I’m also on Cloudflare. If it’s needed, it’s both of the blogs under my profile.

Unfortunately, I am receiving the same problem – could the author confirm that this is a bug?
Hi guys,
Thank you for reaching out and providing feedback, I’m sorry you’re seeing this issue!
Our engineering team is currently looking into this problem and hope to find a solution soon.To help us expedite this process, can you let us know if you’re on the latest version of WordPress (Version 4.7), in addition if you can access your console log and let us know what errors are showing that would be extremely helpful!
To access your console log you can right click and press ‘Inspect’ then click into the [Console] tab, as seen here: https://cl.ly/iVbH
In addition, often times an issue can be caused by a conflict with another plugin or theme, so testing for conflicts can save a bunch of time. It can also help pinpoint your issue much more quickly.
You can test for conflicts by:
Disabling all plugins, except for the one you want to test
Reverting to a default WordPress theme
If the issue has magically disappeared then there is a conflict.
If not, then reactivate each of you plugins one at a time and keep testing, when the issue returns you will then know where the conflict exists.Sorry if that was a bit long but we’re trying to gather as much details as possible so we can resolve this issue for our beloved users ASAP!
Thanks and hope to help soon,
Brandon
I tested with other plugins turn off and also with default theme. Somehow google code is not getting saved once i log out. Every time i log back in it is gone and i have to re authenticate. Any one able to get it worked?
Using WordPress 4.7
I’ve opened console to see any output, there was nothing JQMIGRATE.
Disabled all other plugins except WP_SUPER_CACHE (I need a separate installation to test that), and still the same.
Tested with the default theme, as soon as I logged out it is the same.I am planning to either revert back to older version until this issue gets fixed or moving to another google analytic plugin.
