A fast and light shop for smaller businesses
-
I’ve used WPEasyCart a couple of times and just enjoy how easy it is to get things going. There are so many configuration options that it can take a while to work out what is what but straight out of the box you can have a basic shop up and running very quickly.
I’ve used WooCommerce a few times and while it is ‘free’ you quickly need to add plugins to support and these are often subscription based. WPEasyCart has a free component but you’ll pay for it with a 2% transaction fee. You’re better off to buy a PRO subscription and knock that on the head. Plus you support the developer. and…. you’ll most likely save money on all the woo plugins you would otherwise buy.
The product is really solid, it has a tonne of options. The support team are very good and very thorough. Just make sure you provide them login details early on, just in case.
My only gripe at the moment, is about further customisation to the store front products. But this is probably more a ‘me’ issue. I’ll keep looking at ways to improve the look and feel. Its fine out of the box and looks fantastic with the demo products. But with my books it looks a bit janky. and I think this is down to images and the way they are displayed.
Big thumbs up for this product. I hope it continues to prosper and grow. I hope the bigtime WP Builders take note and start building integrations to it.
