Hi, folks. I am running the CE version of PA on a Hetzner server, and have 6-7 WordPress sites using the plugin. I upgraded from 2.5.0 to 2.5.2 earlier today and immediately my sites went offline. Reverting to 2.5.0 brought things back to normal. I never tried 2.5.1 so nothing to report on that, but from my end at least, whatever was happening with 2.5.1 isn’t yet fully corrected.

    Hi!

    Sorry to hear that!

Could you check your PHP error log for any messages related to the error? Please share the error and the stack trace.

Also, sharing a screenshot of your settings could be helpful.

Hi again. This is now marked as resolved, but the issue is still ongoing. I just reactivated 2.5.2 and my site went down right away, at least to the world, but I am able to continue to work in the WordPress admin.

I am using Uptime Kuma to monitor the site, and it is getting a 500 server error. Please let me know what else you need from me to suss this out.

Is it the same error? And have you double checked if the API token is valid/still present in your CE instance?

It’s a 500 server error. If you’re talking about what “Tim” reported, I don’t know who he is or what he was experiencing. That’s why I was surprised to see the “Resolved” this morning.

Ah, okay. Sorry about that. I took you for the same person. Could you check your PHP error log and share the error here?

    Hi @altimac,

I’m about to release a patch release (2.5.3), to ensure no critical errors occur if the entered API token is invalid. It also adds a admin-wide notice to notify CE users to create/enter an API token if they haven’t already.

Give that one a try, and let me know how it goes!

PS. It’s not allowed to request/offer admin access on this forum.

Got it, the second I did the 2.5.3 update the site came back up. Again, it was always up from my end, but Uptime Kuma instantly confirmed it was up.
